IGA Offers Rules Seminars
for HS Coaches & Players

The Iowa Golf Association is sponsoring three rules seminars this spring. These seminars are free of charge and each participant will receive a free 2012-2015 Rules of Golf Book. High school coaches & their players are encouraged to attend.

The seminars will be:
March 31st @ The Amana Colonies Golf Course in Amana.
April 14th @ Majestic Hills in Denison
April 21st @ Briarwood Club in Ankeny

2012 Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association's Hall of Fame Banquet

The Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association will induct 4 coaches into their Hall of Fame on Friday, March 9, 2012 in Ames. The induction ceremony is apart of the Iowa State University annual High School golf coaches clinic.

Inducted into the Hall of Fame will be:
Bob Heiberger - Ames
Linda Bloom - Marshalltown
Terry Sheesley - Oskaloosa
Tim Ettleson - Hudson

SPRING 2012 REPORTING DATES

The following dates had been established for Spring coaches to report their team & individual scores:

Wed. April 18th
Wed. May 2nd
Wed. May 16th (Final reporting date for all Classes except 4A Girls)
Wed. May 23rd (Final reporting date for Class 4A Girls)

 

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION GOLF TOUR

The inaugural “High School Graduation Golf Tour” in late June 2012 will be a unique opportunity for parents to bring their “graduating” golfing sons and daughters on a very special and memorable trip to the South and Southwest of Ireland where they will tee it up on some of the world’s finest natural links courses, including several ranked in the World’s Top 100.
