FALL CLASS 4A BOYS REPORTING DATES ANNOUNCED

Class 4A boy's team and individual scores will be sent in on the following dates:

Wed. Aug 25th
Wed. Sept 8th
Wed. Sept 22nd
Wed. Oct. 2nd

All information will be sent to RJ Voss @ Ames. All scores need to be submitted by noon on the reporting date.

Coaches need to make sure they are using the NEW spreadsheet. You can go to the "Ranking Information" page to download the spreadsheet.

Scholarship Recipients Announced

The Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association have announced the winners of their scholarship program. Each recipient will receive $500. Recipients are:

4A Girls: Ali Daly (Western Dubuque)
3A Girls: Katie Gustafson (South Hamilton)
1A/2A Girls: Megan Wallingford (Atlantic)

4A Boys: Michael Wetrich (Ottumwa)
3A Boys: Andrew Peter (Decorah)
1A/2A Boys: Nolan Schmidt (Avoca)

2010-2011 BOY'S STATE GOLF SITES ANNOUNCED

Fall 4A Site: The Harvester Golf Course in Rhodes
Spring 1A Site: Lake Panorama in Panora
Spring 2A Site: Spring Valley Golf Course in Livermore.
Spring 3A Site: Ames Golf & Country Club in Ames

NEW HALL OF FAME COACHES ELECTED

The following coaches were elected to the IAHSGCA's Hall of Fame:

Duane Nevenhoven - Aplington
Dave Coffin - Wilton
Byron Hartwig - Battle Creek/Ida Grove

They will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during the March 2011 clinic in Ames
