Linda was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2012.

Linda was the girl’s golf coach at Marshalltown High School. She has led the Bobcats to the state tournament each of the past nine seasons, including a state title in 2005.

Linda was named Iowa Golf Coach of the Year in 2005 and was a finalist for the National Federation of State High School Associations Coaches Association Golf Coach of the Year in 2006. Linda served on the Leadership Board of the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

Linda and her husband, Mike, have two grown daughters, Anne and Katie and two grandchildren, Richard and Elizabeth
