Jack was elected to the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Hall of Fame in 2004.

Jack coached boy’s golf at Newton for 30 years. During that time, his teams won two State title and finished runner-up three time. Jack also coached two Individual State Champs during his 30 years at Newton. Newton also won twelve conference titles during Jack’s tenure.

Jack was twice named Conference Coach of the Year and was nominated twice for National Golf Coach of the Year.
