Bob was elected into the Hall of Fame in 2009

Bob coached boys & girls golf at Britt West Hancock for 20 years, 12 season as their boy’s coach and 20 season as the girl’s coach. His boy’s teams earned 5 top 5 conference finishes along with 6 top 5 sectional finishes. Bob’s girl’s teams capture 2 conference titles. His 1986 team won the conference, sectional, and Class 2A state title.

Bob retired from teaching/coaching in 2004 because of laryngeal cancer. dying from the cancer on May 7, 2007.
