Since 1977, Ken had served as the Boy's golf coach at West Liberty. In 2010, Ken was named head boy's coach at Iowa City Regina. During his time at West Liberty, Ken has taken 3 individuals and 1 team (2000) to State. Ken also coaches Jr. High Girl's Volleyball.

Ken got started in golf as a caddie at a private club in Chicago. Ken caddie at the old Amana V.I.P. for 4 years, one year as Hubert Green's caddie - above picture.

Ken has served on the Leadership Board since 2004.

Ken taught 6th grade at West Liberty. He retired from teaching in 2009. In the Fall of 2006, Ken was nominated for Iowa NEA Teacher of the Year.
