Since 1977, Ken has served as the Boy's golf coach at West Liberty. During that time, Ken has taken 2 individuals and 1 team (2000) to State. Ken also coaches Jr. High Girl's Volleyball.

Ken got started in golf as a caddie at a private club in Chicago. Ken caddie at the old Amana V.I.P. for 4 years, one year as Hubert Green's caddie - above picture.

Ken has served on the Leadership Board since 2004.

Ken teaches 6th grade at West Liberty. In the Fall of 2006, Ken was nominated for Iowa NEA Teacher of the Year.
