Tom has been head girl’s coach at Forest City for 12 years and boy’s head coach for 2 years before taking over the girls program.

He has taken his girls team to state 3 times, finishing 2nd, 3rd and 3rd. He has had individuals in the state tournament 7 times, including 2 time champion, Kendra Hanson. He has coached 6 NIC team champions and 8 individual conference medalists. He was co-head coach of the boy’s team when they placed 2nd at state.

Tom has taught English at Forest City High School for the past 17 years. He and his wife Ava, have a son, Jameson, who is a sophomore at Forest City.
