Eric has been associated with Clear Lake golf since 1998.He was the girl's asst. from 1998-2001. Eric is currently Head Boy's golf coach being in that position since 2003.

Eric's team won the Class 3A State title in 2004, 2005, & 2006. They were State runner-up in 2003 and placed 2nd in 2007. His career record is: 311-36.His teams have won 7 North Central Conf. championships - 4 dual meet titles (2003, 2004, 2006 & 2007) and 3 tournament titles (2005, 2006, & 2007)

Eric was named 2005 & 2006 Class 3A Coach of the Year by the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association.

Eric teaches high school math and also is an asst. football coach at Clear Lake. He is married (wife - Renee) and they have 1 son (Carter - 2 yrs.)

Eric has served on the Leadership Board since 2004 and was elected President of the Association in 2008. Eric created the ranking system that the Association currently uses.
