Noel (Jacobusse) Shahidi




Noel was inducted into the Player’s Hall of Fame in 2017.

Noel played her high school golf for Algona High School. She participated in 4 state tournaments and was a two time state medalist in 1995 & 1997. In 1997, she was the overall State medalist. Noel was also a 3 time NCC conference medalist and a two time All-Iowa golf team member.

After high school, Noel played her college golf at Iowa State University where she was a 4 year letter winner. She was the Big 12 Preview Champion in 1998 and awarded MVP that year.  Noel was also awarded the ISU’s Hardest Worker Award in 2000. In the 2001 Big 12 Championship at The Harvester in Rhodes, Ia Noel tied the Lowest 18 Hole Tournament round with a 69.  Noel played a total of 106 rounds while at Iowa State.

After college, Noel became a PGA Class A Professional working at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Interlachen CC in Edina, MN, and The Golf Club at Fiddler’s Creek in Naples, Fl.

Currently Noel, is a business owner with her husband of 3T’s All Start Sports Academy in Ames. She is a PGA Class A Teaching Professional at Veenker Memorial Golf Course and for the City of Ames.

Noel lives in Ames, is married to Robert Shahidi and has 3 step children, Toran, Tavan, & Tynan.
