Susan Harman

Susan was elected to the Hall of Fame as a player in 2010.

Susan played her high school golf at Cedar Rapids Washington. Susan was a two time state champion at Wash, winning in 1967 and 1969. Susan was the 1968 state junior champion (established the record for the four-round tournament at 300).

Susan was a 3-time Cedar Rapids City champion Susan was also very successful when she played in the State Women’s Am . She placed 2nd (twice), third, fourth (twice), fifth (twice) and eighth.

While in college, Susan qualified for the AIAW (precursor for the NCAA in women's athletics) championship flight in her only appearance at the college national tournament as a freshman at Lawrence University.

Susan current works at the Iowa City Press Citizen (since 2003) where she covers high school sports year round.
