Jerry Smith




Jerry was elected to the Player’s Hall of Fame in 2011.

Jerry was the State medalist in 1982 for Oskaloosa High School.

After high school, Jerry was the NJCAA individual medalist in 1983 while he attended McLennan Junior College in Waco, Texas. After he attended McLennan, he attended Baylor University in Waco where he earned All Southwest Conference honors in 1986.

Jerry turned professional in 1987. During his professional career, he was Iowa Professional Player of the Year in 1993 & 1994. From 1988 to 2005, Jerry played on the Nationwide and Gateway tours. In 2006-2007, Jerry played on the PGA tour. Jerry has made 114 combined cuts on the PGA & Nationwide tours earning $2.3 million. Last year, Jerry qualified for his 4th U.S. Open.

Jerry supports the “Chicks in Crisis” organization and is a member of the PGA Tour PAC committee. Currently,  Jerry resides in Arizona.
