Susan Kirschenman




Susan was inducted into the Players Hall of Fame in 2016.

Susan Kirschenman played golf at Ballard High School. While at Ballard she was the individual medalist at the Iowa 3A State Tournament in 2007-08 and 2008-09 and was runner-up in 2009-10 and 2010-11. Susan finished second at the 2008 Iowa Class 1A State Coed and 5th in 2010. She was named the Iowa 3A Player of the Year by the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association as a sophomore and junior.

After high school, Susan attended the University of Missouri - Kansas City as a Division 1 women’s golfer. In 2011-2012 Susan carded one top-10 finish, one top-20 finish, and was a distinguished Scholar on The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic All-League Team. In the summer of 2012 she played in the US Women’s Amateur and the Canadian Women’s Amateur. In 2012-2013 she recorded three top-10 and five top-20 finishes. Also, Susan was named to The Summit League Academic All-League Team, honored as a WGCA All-American, named to the Summit League Academic Honor Roll and to the Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence. In 2013-2014 Susan had four top-10 finishes, six top-twenty finishes, named WGCA All-American Scholar and Academic All-WAC. In 2014-2015, she finished her final season with the lowest career scoring average in school history, named WGCA All-American Scholar and closed out the season with two top-10 finishes.

Currently, Susan is pursuing a career as a professional golfer. She plans to play in the first stage of the LPGA Tour Qualifying School in August 2016. If she does well, God willing, she will continue to the second and third stage of qualifying and receive her LPGA Playing Card.
