PLAYER OF YEAR & COACH OF YEAR
AWARDS ANNOUNCED

The IAHSGCA have announced their Spring 2013 Player of the Years & Coach of the Year winners.

FIRST COURAGE AWARD

The IAHSGCA is awarding Senior Jacob Haugland from South Hamilton with the first "Courage Award".

Jacob was diagnosed with Stage 2 Anaplastic Large-Cell Lymphoma (ALCL) in Decembder. During the next 4 months, Jacob received 18 chemo treatments. This spring, he helped his South Hamilton teams earn a State tournament berth.

NEW HALL OF FAME COACH
ANNOUNCED

Tom Bohenkamp from Aurelia has been elected to the IAHSGCA's Coaches Hall of Fame.

Tom will inducted into the Hall at the March 2014 Iowa State clinic.

2013 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
ANNOUNCED

The Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association has announced the winners of their scholarship award.

Each of the following seniors wil rfeceive a $500 scholarship to the college of their choice.

GOLF PURCHASING PROGRAMS
FOR HIGH SCHOOL GOLF COACHES

TaylorMade/Adidias, Nike, and Cleveland/Srixon have golf purchasing programs established that allow high school golf coaches, that register & become members of the program, to purchase apparel, footwear, & golf accessories at greatly discounted prices.

There is a registration form for each program that must be filled out by the coach and then their membership must be approved by the individual program.
